What does Service Learning mean to Me?

Service Learning has impacted my lfe by helping me get my working skills and people skills up. Without a good quality foundation in life, you will fall over; therefore , you need to be well grounded and well rooted in the values and disciplines you were taught. If you are well rooted, then you will not fall or fail in life. Also, Service Learning has a lot of benifits like teaching you the importance of team work, work ethic, and a good attitude. It is the performance of a service, such as, campus beautification and is connected to academic achievment and behavioral improvement. It teaches you great things that can and will help you in life. We need to get the support we need and that is available to us, so that we can get our lives on the right track,the right path, and the right road .

Gardening and Character

Pulling weeds out of the ground to allow plants to grow applies to life because if you dont get the weeds out, the plant will not grow or be healthy just like drugs get into peoples life and make them stop doing things that they use to do. This is becasue the only thing on their mind is how they are going to get drug and get high. They need to weed the drugs from their life to get clean.
Providing care and attention to plants applys to life too. If a drug addict dosen't get the proper care and attention he needs, then he is not going to grow our get over his addiction.
